The West Brunswick High School girls’ and boys’ basketball teams both made an early exit from the Mideastern 3A/4A Conference Tournament.
West Brunswick’s girls suffered a 61-41 loss at New Hanover, and the boys dropped a 58-47 decision at Hoggard in last Tuesday’s opening round.
In the girls’ game, No. 4 seed New Hanover outscored the No. 5 seed Lady Trojans in every quarter.
Morgan King scored a game-high 22 points and Tysheia Robinson added 14 for New Hanover (14-10).
