West grad headed to Naval Academy

After one year at a prep school, West Brunswick High School graduate Warren Fischer plans to continue his football career at the U.S. Naval Academy.

Fischer graduated from West Brunswick in 2007 and is a postgraduate student at Wyoming Seminary College Preparatory School in Kingston, Pa.

He announced last week he will continue his academic and athletic career at the Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md. The 6-foot-4, 265-pound lineman is expected to play offensive tackle for the Midshipmen.
