An 18-year-old West Virginia man accused of raping a girl while in Brunswick County has been released on a $400,000 bond and allowed to return to West Virginia.
Adam Wesley Hudson, of 342 Witcher Road, Belle, W.Va., has been charged with first-degree rape of a child and first-degree sex offense of a child, according to arrest warrants.
Hudson is accused of raping a girl younger than 13 years old between July 28 and Aug. 2 in Brunswick County, according to assistant district attorney Meredith Everhart, who prosecutes sex offenses and child abuse cases.
