Super Bowl XLVII
When: 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013 on CBS
Where: Superdome in New Orleans
Who: Baltimore Ravens vs. San Francisco 49ers
Locally there are a variety of places to watch the Super Bowl and celebrate with friends. Call your favorite restaurant and/or sports bar and see what they have planned. Here are a few Super Bowl Sunday activities in the area:
Carolina Wing Company—Shallotte—Super Bowl Sunday Wing Fest—A chicken wing buffet starts at 5 p.m. with all you can eat wings. Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at the door and include 5 drink tickets. There will be live music up until kick-off. Prizes and giveaways will take place throughout the day and the Bud Girls will be on hand during the game. The restaurant opens at 11 a.m. and will remain open until the game is over.
Chubby Buddha Bar—Ocean Isle Beach—Super Bowl Party—All day party with festivities to include giveaways, prizes, free food and drink specials. Watch the game and game day coverage on the seven large flat screen TVs. The party is 12 p.m.-2 a.m.
Sharky’s—Ocean Isle Beach—Pig pickin, raffle prizes and other activities are planned. There are nine flatscreen TVs that will be airing the game and game day coverage.
Mama’s at the Bridge Grill—Sunset Beach—The restaurant will open at 11 a.m. and stay open through the game. The will have half price appetizers and $.50 wings, as well as, draft specials. Watch the game on the restaurant’s four large flatscreen TVs.
Planet Fun & Starz Grill—Shallotte—Super Bowl Tailgate Party—The family fun starts at 4 p.m. and lasts until the game is over. There will be an all-access game pass and a tailgate buffet. Advance tickets are $25 for adults and $10 for children and includes a reserved bowling land, an all access game pass, appetizers, buffet and give-aways while you watch the game on the big screens. The all-access pass includes: bowling, rental shoes, laser tag, cosmic mini-golf, playground and select arcade games.
