Why should Rep. debate?

-A A +A
By Staff Brunswick Beacon

To the editor: I would like to put my 2-cents worth in before the election.

In a letter to the editor by Bob Hibbard of Ash in the Sept. 18 issue of the Beacon, titled: “McIntyre refuses the democratic process,” Hibbard mentions McIntyre refuses to debate Will Breazeale. Why should he? All Breazeale wants is for Mike to draw him an audience.

I say let him get his own audience. Keep up the good work, Mike.

As to Shirley Babson’s trip to the Republican National Convention, it sure doesn’t take much to inspire her.
