To the editor: I was outraged when I read the May 22 edition of The Brunswick Beacon. The laws should be tougher for repeat criminal behavior.
My husband [Adam Bradshaw] might be alive today if the laws were already tougher for those who choose to be career criminals. The fact is, they have a choice.
They can choose to commit crimes or they can choose not to commit crimes. I don’t understand the psychology behind it.
What drives someone to choose a life of crime? What drives someone to commit murder?
