Winding River presents ‘I Love You, You’re Perfect’

The Winding River Players highly acclaimed musical comedy revue, “I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change,” was a musical joyride through the hilarious spectrum of romantic relationships from dating to grandparenting.
Performed to sold-out crowds March 23-24, the show was directed by Sue MacCallum and produced by Susan Zimmerman. Barbara Berry was the musical director.
The performance was a way to celebrate the Winding River Players’ 10th anniversary the play’s director is also the founder of the Winding River Players. Its mission is to “enrich, educate, and entertain” not only in the Winding River Plantation community, but also throughout the county in performances at assisted living homes, charitable events, fundraisers, school events and other worthwhile causes. The Winding River Players Inc., is a nonprofit, tax-exempt charitable organization.
The cast of singers and actors from Winding River Plantation included Jim Berry, Larry Bochiaro, Donna Burns, Jerry Dellinger, Meg Dellinger, Susan Desloge, Bill Fassbender, Bob Hack, Rhonda Kirchner, Martha Koletar, Diane MacQuarrie, Joe Malinowski, Kathy Malinowski, Nina Maurin, Steve Salerno, Gwen Shafer, George Shafer, Butch Willette, Rhonda Willette and Barry Zimmerman. Other participants were chorus members Gayle Kutyla and RoseMarie Fassbender.
Putting on this type of production also takes the help of many dedicated and skilled behind-the-scene workers.
