Don’t put away your warm clothing just yet–wintry weather is in the forecast.
The National Weather Service Wilmington issued a hazardous weather outlook on Friday, Jan. 7 at 3:55 p.m. for the next few days.
“A significant winter storm is possible across the area beginning late Sunday night continuing into Monday,” the warning states.
Precipitation is expected to spread across the area from south to north through the early morning hours on Monday. The National Weather Service expects most areas should see some snow by daybreak.
