Worship Early Or Later At Grace UMC, Downtown Wilmington

YOU ARE INVITED TO COME GROW IN GRACE by worshiping on Sunday at 8:30 a.m. or at 10:55 a.m. at Grace United Methodist Church, Fourth and Grace Streets, downtown Wilmington.  Grace is serving into its Fourth Century with two services, outstanding music and children/youth programs, Sunday School for all ages, and a new Activity Center/Gym on its own downtown campus.

The early Blended Service has piano music, hymn singing, Praise and Concern Reports, scripture and the Pastor’s Sunday Message in a less formal presentation in the beautiful Sanctuary.

The Traditional 10:55 p.m. Sanctuary Service features the robed processional by the Chancel Choir with organ music, liturgy, anthem and hymns.  The Pastor delivers his Morning Message.

8:30 a.m.:  Blended Service.

9:30-10:40 a.m.:  Fellowship Time with coffee in the Welcome Center.

9:45 a.m.:  Sunday School for all ages in the Walsh Hall Education Building.  New Member orientation class meets:  Archives Room.  The Bible Class begins the study Jerusalem:  Three Faiths in Room W203.

10:55 a.m.:  Traditional Sunday Worship.

5:00-6:00 p.m.:  Kids 4 Christ and the older Methodist Youth meet.  Prayer Shawl Ministry meets in the Infant Nursery.  For information, call Marie at 675-0612.

Children Feeding Children currently needs canned soups.  Please  leave in the cart in the Welcome Center.

OPERATION NORTH STATE:  This American Legion project prepares gift boxes of over 40 items made in North Carolina and sends them to NC service personnel stationed out of state.  Please list the names of such personnel, their present address, T-shirt size and hometown and send the information to:  Commander Hartly, 616-7163 or email dhartsocsec@hotmail.com
