About a month ago, I walked into Lori’s Golf Shop in Calabash to meet with Lori DeSimone about a donation for a charity event. When she came out of her office, I did a double take.

Lori is an LPGA pro who owns Lori’s Golf Shop, gives golf lessons and conducts ladies’ golf trips to Bald Head Island and other venues. She has always been a cute gal, with a muscular athlete’s body and an up-beat personality.

I noticed a change since I had seen her last. Lori’s skin glowed, she was thinner, her eyes sparkled.
