 Years ago, I had some serious back issues so I worked with a personal trainer who helped me strengthen the muscles that kept my spine aligned and strong. I remember my trainer saying that without muscles, we’d all be a pile of bones on the ground, that keeping my core muscles strong would help keep my bones (think spine) aligned. 

John Wolchek, my trainer, taught me a series of back stretches I still do today.
