Sarah Marie Dornfeld of Shallotte and Bryan Maynard Stephenson of Raleigh were married March 2 at historical First Baptist Church on Market Street in Wilmington.
Pastor Donald Sandburg officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Art and Diana Dornfeld of Shallotte.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. Stephenson Jr. of Raleigh.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents.

Sherry Ann and Scottie Allen Gore of Supply were married March 30 in Holden Beach.
Minister Rudy Ramphal officiated the ceremony.
Her uncle, Cedric Fisher, gave the bride in marriage.
She wore a full-length gown with extensive beadwork worn off the shoulders with tulle and beads along the bottom of the gown, a crinoline petticoat and an eight-foot train. She wore a tulle and lace cathedral gown-length veil with a tiara.
She carried a cascading bouquet of roses, carnations, ivy and cattails.

Announcement is made of the forthcoming marriage of Brittany Leigh Bennett and Joshua Hampton Truesdale of Ocean Isle Beach. The bride-elect is the daughter of Amy and Henry Bennett of Ocean Isle Beach. The prospective groom is the son of Peggy and John Truesdale of Ocean Isle Beach. A May 18 wedding is planned on the beach at Ocean Isle Beach.

Dominique Vereen and Michael Thomasen of Carolina Shores are the proud parents of a daughter, Adrianna Marie Thomasen, born at 2:10 p.m. Feb. 12 at Brunswick Novant Medical Center weighing nine pounds, 10 ounces and measuring 22 inches long.
She joins a brother, Tayveon, 8.
Maternal grandparents are Clifton and Rosa Vereen of Ash.
Paternal grandparents are Michael and JoAnn Thomasen of Supply.
