The bride-elect is the daughter of Bobby Denning Tanner and Jane Carlson Tanner of Raleigh. The prospective groom is the son of J. Douglas Winn of Calabash and the late Diane Lee Winn. An April 27, 2013, wedding is planned for 5:30 p.m. in Fuquay-Varina.
 

Tracy Nichole Green and Jarrett Wayne Brown, both of Shallotte, were married Sept. 29 at Ocean Isle Beach Chapel.
Jason Benton officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Rick and Angie Green of Ocean Isle Beach.
The groom is the son of Pam Hewett of Shallotte and David Brown of Cornelius.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Brittany Shipley of Ash was matron of honor and Laura Lewis of Shallotte was maid of honor.

Tompkins of Calabash. She is employed at Ella’s Restaurant in Calabash and is a student in the nursing program at Southeastern Community College. The prospective groom is the son of Pastor Kenneth and Chrisa Powell of Shallotte. He is employed with the town of Shallotte. A Sept. 28, 2013, wedding is planned at Brunswick Plantation in Calabash.

Elizabeth Blake Lancaster and Billy Allen Benton were united in marriage Sept. 22 at Lancaster Farms in Centerville.
The Rev. Aaron Land of Centerville officiated the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Jerry Morris and Karen Ripple Lancaster of Raleigh, and granddaughter of the late Charles and Margaret Ripple of Whiteville and the late Tyree and Agnes Lancaster of Centerville.
