  • Faircloth

    Steven and Jennifer Faircloth of Ash are the parents of a son, Aiden Michael Faircloth, born at 3:44 a.m. May 6 at Brunswick Community Hospital.
    He weighed 6 pounds, 10 ounces and measured 19.5  inches long.
    He joins a brother, Brooklyn, 10, and sister Jade, 7.
    Maternal grandparents are Dean and Joanna Jones of Shallotte.
    Paternal grandparents are Steve Faircloth and Cheryl McDaniel of Shallotte.

  • Hickman birth

    Johnnie and Bonnie Hickman of Bladenboro are the parents of a daughter, Allison Penny Hickman, born at 1:06 p.m. at Columbus Regional Medical Center.
    She joins sisters Ashley, 8, Amber, 6, and Abbie, 2.
    Maternal grandparents are Ed and Linda Little of Winnabow.
    Paternal grandparents are Russell and Teresa Hickman of Bladenboro.

  • Collier birth

    Zachary Clayton Collier and Megan Arlene Birch Collier of Southport are the parents of a daughter, Genevieve Arlene Collier, born at 4:30 p.m. April 8 at Brunswick Community Hospital.
    She weighed 7 pounds, 10 ounces and measured 21 inches long.
    She joins a sister, Lexi Payton Collier, 2.
    Maternal grandparents are Donnie and Robin Ratcliffe of Bolivia and Bob and Carolyn Birch of Spotsylvania, Va.
    Paternal grandparents are Horace and Leslie Collier of Oak Island.

  • Caudle birth

    Kevin and Denise Caudle of Leland are the parents of a daughter, Bailey Rae Caudle, born at 10:32 p.m., Feb. 27, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
    She joins brothers, Jonah, 6, and Noah, 6.
    Maternal grandparents are Brenda and Billy Stidham of Bolivia.
    Paternal grandparents are Irene and Ronnie Caudle of Ocean Isle Beach.
    Great-grandfather is Mitchell Dunn of Star. Aunt and uncle are Angela and Jimmy Phelps of Winnabow.

  • Hill-Mason

    Announcement is made of the forthcoming marriage of Loria Hill and Donald Mason. They will celebrate their wedding at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 1, at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church. A reception will follow from 5-9 p.m. at the Lockwood Folly Community Building.

  • Hewett-Williams

    Announcement is made of the forthcoming marriage of Jessica Marie Hewett of Supply and Christopher Robin Williams of Jacksonville. The bride-elect is the daughter of Douglas L. Hewett and Pamela G. Hewett of Supply. She will graduate this year from UNC Chapel Hill. The prospective groom is the son of Paula Johnson and Robin Williams of Massachusetts. He is a staff sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps. A May 16 wedding is planned at Supply Baptist Church.

  • Tillman-Ward

    Announcement is made of the forthcoming marriage of Leanna Louise Tillman and Matthew Ryan Ward. The wedding will be at 4 p.m. April 17 on the waterway at Ocean Haven Road, Ocean Isle Beach. Reception will follow at Emmanuel Outreach Church, Russtown Road, Longwood. The bride is the daughter of Alma Anson of Lake City, Fla., and the late Merle Anson. The groom is the son of Dewayne and Cindy Ward of Sunset Beach.

  • Padgett-Lineberger

    Announcement is made of the forthcoming marriage of Kelly Lee Padgett of Nashville, Tenn., and Keith Lineberger of Bessemer City. The bride-elect is the daughter of Wendell and Tina Padgett of Ash. She is a graudate of West Brunswick High School and UNC-Chapel Hill and is attending Vanderbilt Law School in Nashville, Tenn. The prospective groom is the son of John and Kathy Lineberger of Bessemer City. He is a graduate of North Gaston High School, Appalachian State University and UNC-Charlotte. He is employed by Lineberger Surveying and Mapping in Dallas.

  • Tinnells celebrate 64 years

    Frances and Harry Tinnell of Shallotte will celebrate 64 years of marriage April 21. They were married in 1945 and raised five daughters. Harry Tinnell is retired from the Richmond Fire Department. The couple moved from Richmond, Va., to Shallotte in 1995. They enjoy gardening and spending time with their grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

  • Stones celebrate 63 years
