Clayton Horace Collier III and Leslie Zachary Collier of Oak Island, announce the engagement of their daughter, Lynsey Paige, to Joseph William Leonard V. Leonard is the son of Barbara Leonard of Naples, Fla. and the late Joseph William Leonard IV. Originally from Charleston, W.Va., he received an associate degree in the culinary arts from Pennsylvania Culinary Institute and is a chef at the Conrad Miami Hotel of Florida. He will graduate in December with an associate degree in hospitality management from Miami Dade College. Collier is a native of Oak Island.

Kristin Nichole Evans and Mark Allen Register, both of Southport, were married Saturday, May 10, at Brunswick Town State Historic Site.

Pastor Bobby Wilson of Winnabow officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Marshall and Debbie Evans of Bolivia.

The groom is the son of Martin and Gail Register of Southport.

The bride was given in marriage and escorted by her sons, Alexander Evans and Elliott Register.

The bride wore an off-white, full-length satin and chiffon gown with train embellished with sequins and pearls.

Kristin Ann Lesley and Jason Britt Parker, both of Lakeland, Fla., were married at 8 p.m. March 23 in a double-ring ceremony in the Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas.

Announcement is made of the forthcoming marriage of Jamie Carter of Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Lloyd Inman Hendricks Jr. of Ocean Isle Beach. The bride-elect is the daughter of Esta Carter of Longs, S.C., and James Ron Carter of Alpharetta, Ga. The prospective groom is the son of Lloyd and Susan Hendricks of Columbia, S.C. A Sept. 27 wedding is planned at Living Water Baptist Church in Longs.
