Justin and Tiffany Pruitt are the parents of a daughter, Rowan Hadley Pruitt, born at 1 a.m. March 30 at Brunswick Community Hospital.

She weighed 7 pounds, 10 ounces and measured 20 inches long.

She joins a brother, Eli, and a sister, Emma Claire, both 3.

Maternal grandparents are Greg and Cheri Skaggs of Shallotte.

Paternal grandparents are Dallas and Melodee Pruitt of Supply.

Great-grandparents are Janice Skaggs of Richwood, W.Va., Bobby and Carolyn Lewis of Shallotte and Ruby Pruitt of Mount Airy.

Announcement is made of the forthcoming marriage of Savannah Dawn Medlin of Riegelwood and Matthew Ray Edwards of Leland. The bride-elect is the daughter of Arden and Kimberly Medlin of Riegelwood. The prospective groom is the son of Bonnie Edwards of Leland and Ray and Debra Edwards of Leland. A June 7 wedding is planned on Town Creek in Winnabow with a reception to follow.

Demaris and Charlotte Lance are the parents of a son, Gavin Montrel Lance, born at 5:31 p.m. March 26 at Brunswick Community Hospital.

He weighed 7 pounds, 14 ounces and measured 21 inches long.

He joins a brother, Jayden, 6.

Maternal grandparents are Mary Nunn of Southport and Janes and Lori Nunn of Bland, Va.

Paternal grandparents are Vermethia Lance of Shallotte and Handy Lance of Calabash.

Great-grandparents are Gladys Nunn of Princeton, W. Va., Dorthy Clarida of Shallotte and James and Catherine Lance of Calabash.

April Gause and Adam Stanley, both of Shallotte, were married April 5 at Jennies Branch Baptist Church in Ocean Isle Beach, with the Rev. Robbie Stephens officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Rodney and Dina Gause of Shallotte.

The groom is the son of Jimmy and Tina Stanley of Shallotte.

The bride was given in marriage and escorted by her father.

Kate Gore of Ash served as maid of honor, and Whitney Reinert of Shallotte served as matron of honor.
