Sheriff's office asking for help in IDing man they say robbed gas station

The Brunswick County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's assistance in identifying a man they say robbed the B.P. gas station at 5053 Southport-Supply Road in Southport.

No weapon was brandished and no one was injured.

According to a sheriff's office Facebook post, the robbery happened at 8:30 p.m. Saturday.

The man is described as a 6-foot-tall white man with facial hair. He was last seen wearing a shortsleeve, dark-blue t-shirt, tan pants and a camouflage beanie.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
