Tourism Development Authorities promote growth in Brunswick County

August isn’t the peak month for tourism in Brunswick County, but it is proving to be a good month for local tourism development authorities.

The Brunswick County Tourism Development Authority announced Aug. 18 visitor spending increased in the county for the sixth consecutive year to a high of more than $508 million.

The Leland TDA is doing its part to keep the increases coming, announcing a new promotion kickoff to draw visitors here and get them to stick around.
