The Brunswick County Superior Court under the direction of the Honorable Judge Ola M. Lewis with prosecutor Jon David and courtroom clerk Jill Fullwood adjudicated the following cases during a superior court grand jury session on Sept. 12:

Coty Michael Alford, 19, of 7300 River Road Lot 74, Southport; break or enter a motor vehicle, misdemeanor larceny.

Johnny Reid Arey Jr., 44, of 730 Pine View Drive, Supply; assault by strangulation.

BOLIVIA—Four suspects were recently sentenced in Driving While Impaired (DWI) court.

Mollie Elaine Fischer, 20, of 404 Sherrill Ave., Oak Island, pleaded guilty Sept. 13 to DWI and felony serious injury. Fischer was sentenced to 13-16 months suspended sentence, 60 days split sentence and 36 months probation.

The following cases were adjudicated over five days of District Criminal Court on Aug. 24, 25, 26, 29 and 30 in Bolivia.
