  • SHALLOTTE CRIME REPORT

    Shallotte police charged the following people and investigated following incidents last week. All information is taken directly from police reports.

    •Police charged Gene Franklin Jewell III, 38, of 202 Harbor View, Swansboro, with possession of cocaine, driving while impaired and driving while license revoked. He was taken to the Brunswick County Detention Center.

    •Police charged John Dennis Turner, 62, of 1716 Pelican Place, Shallotte, with driving while impaired. He was taken to the Brunswick County Detention Center.
