Holden Beach Police officers made the following arrests and investigated the following incidents. All information is taken from incident and/or arrest reports.

•Breaking and entering, larceny and vandalism on Ocean Boulevard East on Dec. 5; suspect climbed through victim’s open bathroom window and damaged a boat paddle with painting wall ornament.

•Breaking and entering and larceny on South Shore Drive on Dec. 10; suspect entered victim’s home and stole a digital camera.

Leland police officers charged the following people and investigated the following incidents last week. All information is taken directly from patrol activity reports.

•Larceny on New Pointe Boulevard; Keisha Simone Bagley, 18, and Alisha Monique Bagley, 24, both of 901 Dickson Road, Riegelwood, were cited for shoplifting from Walmart.

•Connie Gatlin Patrick, 52, of 888 Village Road, Leland, was arrested and charged with driving while impaired.

The Ocean Isle Police Department investigated property damage to Island Realty last week. According to the police incident report, the suspect kicked pickets from a hand railing and cut a wooden rocking chair arm. The incident is under further investigation.

The Brunswick County Grand Jury under the direction of Judge Gary L. Locklear with prosecutor Rex Gore and courtroom clerk Kay Fowler returned the following indictments during a Superior Court session on Dec. 8:

Daniel Eugene Beverly Jr., 34, of 1597 Sunny Trail, Leland; felony indecent liberties with child, two counts felony first-degree rape child, two counts felony first-degree sex offense child.

Julius L. Brown, 18, of 1244 Zack St., Bolivia; felony robbery with dangerous weapon.
