The following cases were adjudicated over two days of District Criminal Court on Aug. 18 and 19 in Bolivia.

Monday, Aug. 18

Judge William Fairley presided over the following cases with prosecutor Cathi Radford and courtroom clerk Jennifer Hearn:

Timothy Pete Barnett, speeding 75 in a 60 zone, costs; no operator’s license, drive/allow motor vehicle no registration, both voluntarily dismissed.

Tocarra Batts, failure to reduce speed, voluntarily dismissed.

The Brunswick County Grand Jury under the direction of Judge Ola Lewis with prosecutor Rex Gore and courtroom clerk Kay Fowler returned the following indictments during a Superior Court session on Aug. 4:

Donald Wesley Adkins, 62, of 435 Orchard Lane, Bolivia; felony indecent liberties with child.

Mario Reyes Angles, 40, of 9404 Walker St. Lot 39, Leland; felony conspire to traffic in cocaine.

Odell Bennerman, 45, of 534 Leap Frog Lane, Leland; felony possession of cocaine.

The following cases were adjudicated over four days of District Criminal Court on July 23, 24, 25 and 28 in Bolivia.

Wednesday, July 23

Judge Jerry A. Jolly presided over the following cases with prosecutor Erin Holden and courtroom clerk Michelle Warth:

Christopher S. Babson, injury to real property, Brunswick County Jail 15 days, to run concurrent with any other sentence.

The Brunswick County Grand Jury under the direction of Judge Ola Lewis with prosecutor Rex Gore and courtroom clerk Kay Fowler returned the following indictments during a Superior Court session on July 21:

Steven Wayne Brown Jr., 19, of 162 Quail Place Drive, Winston-Salem; felony robbery with dangerous weapon, felony breaking and/or entering, felony larceny after breaking/entering.

Andraes Dequan Bryant, 19, of 4550 Blue Banks Loop Road, Leland; felony sell heroin, felony sell/deliver cocaine, felony possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver cocaine.
