The K-9 enforcement team answers calls, conducts driver’s license checkpoints and assists with other agencies when K-9s are needed.
From Feb. 28-March 6, K-9 deputies issued 12 citations and made 10 arrests.
K-9 deputies set up checkpoints at Hale Swamp Road and Ash-Little River Road.
The following suspects were charged:
•Timothy Wayne Ezzell, 43, of 106 Waynes Way, Whiteville, was charged with possession of one-half ounce or less of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
