A Calabash man has been arrested twice in as many weeks, charged with 19 drug charges.
Jimmy Franklin McCumbee, 41, of Highpoint Avenue in Calabash, was arrested Dec. 31, 2009, and charged with two drug charges.
On Tuesday, Jan. 12, he was arrested again, this time for 17 drug charges, according to Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office Drug Enforcement Unit Sgt. Steve Lanier.
Lanier said drug agents conducted a six-month investigation into McCumbee, who drug agents say was supplying cocaine from Shallotte to Calabash.
