  • Sunset Beach developer faces fraud charge

    A Sunset Beach developer has been charged with fraud and obtaining money by false pretenses.

    Richard Mace Watts Jr., 43, of 4528 River Road in Little River, S.C., was served with an outstanding warrant Nov. 22 on North Shore Drive East in Sunset Beach.

    Vandalism; someone drove off from Minuteman gas station on Naber Drive with a gas hose still in vehicle, causing the pump connector, valued at $50, to break.

    Dec. 13

    Danny Nathaniel Grissett, 57, 985 Cedar Grove Road SW, Supply, cited for possession of drug paraphernalia.

    Deandre Jamaris Braddy, 23, of Marion County, S.C., arrested on two counts of attempted murder warrants from Mullins, S.C., during a field interview on Bourbon Street and Westover Drive.

    Two-vehicle crash on Village Road at U.S. 17 South resulting in personal and property damage.

    Michael Glenn Fulcher, 53, of 1135 Park Road, Unit 3303, charged with assault on a female and communicating threats.

    Larceny; Wal-Mart loss prevention personnel saw a juvenile steal merchandise from the business. Juvenile was cited and released.

    Two-vehicle crash on Village Road resulting in personal and property damage.

    Nov. 28

    David Cosme, 38, 1227 High St., Shallotte, cited and released for stealing merchandise from Wal-Mart on New Pointe Boulevard.
