    Brittany Michelle Malernee, 24, 2060 Elmwood St., Supply, cited for shoplifting $48.80 worth of items from Walmart on Main Street.

    Larceny by someone who bagged clothing and walked out of Walmart on Main Street without paying.

    Amberla Waddell, 60, 1740 Moneyhole Road, Riegelwood, arrested on charges of communicating threats, disorderly conduct and injury to personal property after threatening to cut three off-duty officers with a box cutter, breaking the glass door of a business near Village Road and using verbally offensive language toward officers.

    Winston McLaurin Flynt, 52, 9043 Hawks Bill Drive, cited for stolen merchandise from Walmart on New Pointe Boulevard.

    May 20

    Charles Williams and Shaqoya Perry were involved in a two-vehicle traffic crash on U.S. 17, resulting in property damage only.

    Paula Leann Wright, 39, 579 Oakwest St., arrested on a misdemeanor charge of simple possession of a schedule II controlled substance (methadone).

    May 12

    James O’Ree Dixon, 29, 1003-108 Hunterstone Drive, arrested during traffic stop on U.S. 17 on a New Hanover County warrant on a charge of failure to appear in court. Dixon was also cited for expired registration and inspection violation.

    Weldon Moore Jr., 39, 301 Queen St., Wilmington, arrested on a New Hanover County warrant on drug violations.
