    March 13

    William French Lewis was arrested on charges of felony fleeing to elude arrest, felony removal of anti-theft device, possession of fictitious registration, possession of stolen property, simple possession of schedule II narcotics, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while license revoked and misdemeanor larceny.

    Jacqueline Nicole Brown, 27, 3058 Shell Point Road, cited for possession of drug paraphernalia.

    March 28

    Larceny of jewelry valued at $11,695 from a Brooks Court apartment.

    Breaking and entering a motor vehicle and property damage; someone used a rock to shatter a window, causing $400 damage to a vehicle at Affordable Cars on Main Street.

  • Reward offered in firearms theft

    A reward is being offered in the recent theft of firearms from a Calabash-area gun shop.

    On March 10 at 9:42 p.m., someone broke into Low Country Sports at 580 Thomasboro Road and stole several firearms, according to a March 23 news release from the Charlotte office of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF).

    The burglary of the shop is being investigated by ATF and the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office.

    March 22

    Breaking and entering and larceny of a flat-screen TV reported from an address on East Main Street.

    March 23

    Town signs reported stolen from Marlin, Sailfish, Cobia and Dolphin streets.

    Jonathan Daniels, 31, of 7118 Dale Ave., Ocean Isle Beach, was charged with simple possession of marijuana and paraphernalia.

    Jerry Lee Walston, 43, was arrested on misdemeanor charges of hit and run, larceny, driving while license revoked and possession of drug paraphernalia.

    March 11

    Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle reported on Forest Drive.

    March 12

    Jaime de la Morales, 37, was arrested on four counts of misdemeanor failure to appear in court.

    Vincent Moore was arrested on five orders for arrest on charges of failure to appear in court on traffic related charges from Brunswick County.

    Patrick Bryan Driscoll Miller, 23, of 3307 Wickslow Road, Wilmington, charged with carrying a concealed weapon.

    March 15

    Logan McBride, 31, of 902 Wyndfall Drive, Sunset Beach, charged with larceny from a home on Wyndfall Drive.

    Breaking and entering, larceny of a television and injury to real property at an address on 16th Street.

    Barbara Lynn Casey, 53, 1818 Seaside Road SW, Sunset Beach, cited for shoplifting $118.98 in clothing from Belk.

    Breaking and entering and larceny of a backpack, which included miscellaneous items valued at $845, from a vehicle.

    Breaking and entering – non-forced entry, larceny of $500 in electronics from a Serenity Lane residence.
