    Winston McLaurin Flynt, 52, 9043 Hawks Bill Drive, cited for stolen merchandise from Walmart on New Pointe Boulevard.

    May 20

    Charles Williams and Shaqoya Perry were involved in a two-vehicle traffic crash on U.S. 17, resulting in property damage only.

    May 12

    James O’Ree Dixon, 29, 1003-108 Hunterstone Drive, arrested during traffic stop on U.S. 17 on a New Hanover County warrant on a charge of failure to appear in court. Dixon was also cited for expired registration and inspection violation.

    Weldon Moore Jr., 39, 301 Queen St., Wilmington, arrested on a New Hanover County warrant on drug violations.

    Joshua Scott Todd, 26, of 1115 Captains Court, Calabash, was arrested on larceny and two counts of obtaining property by false pretense warrants.

    Larceny of landscaping lights reported on High Market Street.

    Larceny of fishing equipment reported on 38th Street.

    Demontray Hill, 24, 671 McMilly Road NW, arrested on charges of felony fleeing or eluding arrest with a motor vehicle, misdemeanor possession of a schedule II controlled substance, oxycodone, and misdemeanor resisting arrest.

    Larceny of a trailer, valued at $2,000, taken from the back property of Jumpin’ Java on Main Street.

    During the month of April, the Calabash Fire Department responded to 130 calls: five structure fires, three fire

    alarms, six motor vehicle accidents, 14 public assistance calls and 102 EMS first-response calls.
