    Jan. 22

    Breaking and entering, larceny of three flat-screen televisions and other items totaling $3,891 and $700 in property damage at an East Second Street residence.

    Jan. 29

    Breaking and entering and $1,800 in damage in property to an East First Street residence,

    Breaking and entering and $500 in property damage to an East First Street residence.

    Carrington Ruffin was cited and released on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, no operator’s license and allowing an unlicensed driver to drive a vehicle.

    Teonte Adkins was cited and released on mcharges of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

    Lost wallet containing $1,200 in cash on Stamp Act Drive, Bolivia.

    Fraud by someone using a credit card/ATM card to make $267.45 in unauthorized purchases on B Var Road, Supply.

  • Calabash Fire Department January 2016

    During the month of January, 2016, the Calabash Fire Department responded to 157 calls: five structure fires, two woods/brush fires, a vehicle fire, six fire alarms, five motor vehicle accidents, two investigations, 15 public assistance, an other and 120 EMS first-response calls.
