  • Calabash Fire Department report October 2016

    During the month of October, the Calabash Fire Department responded to 196 calls: seven structure fires, two woods/brush fires, seven fire alarms, six motor vehicle accidents, a rescue call, 44 public assistance calls, two mutual aid calls, three other calls and 124 EMS first-response calls.

    Iesha Scurry, 23, of 1247 Stoney Brook Drive, Conway, S.C., was arrested on a charge of conspiracy to traffic opium/heroin.
