Imagine attending church service outside in 95-degree temperatures, surrounded by soldiers armed with machine guns.
For many Christians on the island of Zanzibar, in Tanzania, Africa, this is a reality.
Todd Underwood, pastor at the Shallotte Church of God, witnessed the scenario firsthand when he visited the island last November.
Accompanying him were Doug Seaman, a pastor from Washington, D.C., and his wife, Pam.
Underwood and the Seamans made the trip to be part of an eight-day crusade to bring Christianity to residents of Zanzibar.
