CAROLINA SHORES—Town staff has released a copy of assistant town manager Amanda Chestnut’s new two-year contract.
The contract, released last week, stipulates an effective date of Oct. 8, the day town commissioners voted 4-1 to approve it. The contract continues through Oct. 31, 2011.
The contract outlines annual pay and benefits for Chestnut including her $40,000 salary, retirement, health and life insurance, 12 vacation days, 12 sick days and standard paid holidays. She also may accrue additional vacation and sick leave at the rate of other town employees.
