An errant pitch prevented Amanda Noble from playing international softball a few years ago.
But in January, she leaves for Greece to pitch against top-flight international teams.
“I had the opportunity to do it right after my senior year in college (at Charleston Southern),” Noble said, “but I got hit by a pitch. It bounced up in the dirt and it fractured my ankle. So I couldn’t go.”
For two years, Noble, 24, thought about getting another chance to play international softball.
