Most Christians know little about our Jewish heritage. Little is known of the seven Jewish feasts that were celebrated in the spring and in the fall.

Hidden in the spring feasts are foreshadowing’s of the first coming of the Messiah.

This year, Passover, Pesach for Jewish observers, comes on April 20. For the Jew, this is a remembrance of how “the Angel of Death” passed over, and they were delivered from 400 years of bondage in Egypt.

For the Christian, this is a reminder of how Jesus delivered us from the bondage of sin and death.

Don Werenko is concerned about the economy. He mentions Mike McIntyre as one of the big spenders. I don’t think I’ll vote for him in the next election.

Now, Hillary states an outright, boldface lie when one is caught at it (very much as her husband was) is not really a lie at all. So, the Clintons once again have taught us and our youth another “Clintonese.”

Remember children, when you lie it is no longer a lie. From now on you simply say, “I misspoke.” You can also follow that, as she did, by saying, “After all, I’m only human.”

To the editor: After reading letters for the past two weeks defending teachers, I’ve noticed a common thread that seemed to connect them all.

Every single letter was devoid of any compassion for the child who was forced to sit in his own waste for three hours while his classmates stared at him.

How do you justify treating another human being like that? What happened in the classroom that day will most likely have a negative effect on him forever.
