To the editor:
I am writing this letter believing that, in our sometimes jaded world, there are still Good Samaritans.
On Friday, Feb. 6, after cashing a check at the bank, I evidently dropped a BB&T bank envelope with $120 in $20s in the parking lot directly in front of the door to Tripp’s Jewelers on Main Street in Shallotte. I was on a mission of mercy to get a battery replaced in my husband’s watch and a neck chain repaired. Leaving the store, I returned home and then realized the envelope containing the money was missing.
