North Carolina’s unemployment rate continues to drop closer to the national rate, according to the North Carolina Department of Commerce.
From October to November, national unemployment numbers fell from 7.3 percent to 7.0 percent unemployment.
Unemployment in North Carolina decreased from 8.0 percent in October to 7.4 percent. .
The NCDC - Labor and Economic Analysis Division, provides the county, state and national numbers on unemployment each month.
The unemployment rate for North Carolina in September was 8.3 percent.
