Sloup found redemption May 18 at The Reserve Club.

Starting with a one-shot lead over 2014 runner-up Bailey Cocca, Sloup's final-round 73 was enough to claim her first Carolinas Golf Association championship with a three-shot victory.

Early this year, Mo Spada of Sea Trail was recognized by the Carolinas Golf Association as having played the most rounds of any woman golfer in North and South Carolina for 2015. She posted 275 rounds of golf.

Figure it out, folks. That’s an average of 5.3 times a week, year-round. Think of rainy days and Nor’easters, ice storms and summer heat waves, Mo Spada is either out on the course or sitting in her house, just waiting to grab her clubs. I love it.
