    During every golf clinic I run, I begin the session by setting the tone for learning and motivation. I am constantly reminding my students to enjoy the moment and never take anything for granted. You never know what is around the corner, so count your blessings.

  • BCC wins 18-inning game

    team 9-8 in 18 innings Saturday at Founders Field.

    The game was the home opener for the Dolphins. The two teams were scheduled to play a doubleheader (nine innings and seven innings).

    The game ended when Dominic Ford singled to left field, driving in Brett McMillan, who had led off with a double to left field.

    ECU led 7-3 in the eighth inning but BCC scored four runs and tied the score 7-7.

    NCHSAA Women’s Basketball Pairings finalized for the 2017 Playoffs

    CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The North Carolina High School Athletic Association
    finalized the 2017 Basketball playoff brackets this afternoon. Play will
    begin at the higher regional seeded team on Tuesday, February 21.

    Rounds one through four will all be held at the home of the higher seed.
    The Regional Finals (Round 5) will be played in Fayetteville for the East
    and Greensboro and Winston-Salem for the West.

    This year, by vote of the Board of Directors, the playoffs were seeded

  • Three county wrestlers win state...

    GREENSBORO —  Three county wrestlers won championships Saturday in the North Carolina High School Athletic Association state tournament.

    West Brunswick senior Harrison Campbell won the Class 3A 120-pound title for the second straight year. Campbell finished the season 39-4.

    North Brunswick senior Tyrone Watson Jr., second last year at 182 pounds, won the Class 2A title. Watson finished the season 34-2.
