Kelly Williamson has resigned as West Brunswick’s head football coach.

Williamson resigned Monday, Jan. 22, he told the Beacon Tuesday afternoon.

He had worked as the Trojans’ head football coach since 2015, replacing former head coach Bob Hanna.

“I’m just looking for some other opportunities,” Williamson said. “I appreciate the time I spent at West Brunswick with the kids and the families I got to know. I appreciate the community support. That’s really it.”
