ACE roundup: Two arrested for impaired driving charges

Deputies with the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office Aggressive Criminal Enforcement (ACE) Team arrested two people for impaired driving last week.

The ACE Team is a support unit whose primary functions are traffic enforcement and assisting in the apprehension of drug traffickers in the county.

From June 13-19, ACE deputies issued 84 total arrests and citations, including two driving while impaired charges and 36 speed violations.

The following suspects were charged:

•William Thomas Jenkins II, 54, of 2521 South Memorial Drive, Greenville, was charged with driving while impaired.

•James Marshal Mishue, 49, of 3624 Crusoe Island Road, Whiteville, was charged with driving while impaired and driving while license revoked.
