Biotechnology company to create 52 jobs in Brunswick County

RALEIGH—N.C. Gov. Bev Perdue has announced a biotechnology company plans to create 52 jobs in Brunswick County.

On Thursday, Nov. 4, Perdue announced CMS Food Solutions, Inc., which she described as an “owner of an innovative proprietary food safety technology,” plans to open a manufacturing facility in Leland.

The manufacturing facility is expected to create 52 jobs, and Perdue said the company expects to invest more than $4 million in the Leland plant.
