Carbs are not created equal

I know you’ve heard people say “I don’t eat carbs” or “I’m cutting down on carbs.” Perhaps you wonder to yourself, “Should I be doing that, too?” Is it healthy to eat or not eat carbs?

Dr. Carolyn Dunn, our state specialist in nutrition with the N.C. Cooperative Extension and North Carolina State University, recently gave a webinar called “All Carbs are Not Created Equal.” In this webinar she answered some of these questions about this confusing nutrient. I’d like to share some of the key points she covered.
