Conditions that affect the fabric of fishing

-A A +A
By Capt. Jacob Frick

Complex threads are intertwined to bring a successful fishing trip together. The immediate current conditions always play a huge role in whether we catch fish. What are those conditions? The conditions can be mental or physical, affecting not only the targeted species but also the fishermen. The wind speed and direction is always a factor, when it is coming from the wrong direction and blowing more than 15 mph. At the same time, when the wind is not blowing with calm conditions the no-see-ums can eat you alive, making it hard to focus on the task as they chew on your flesh.
