Craig Bryant found guilty of first-degree murder

A Brunswick County jury has found Craig Bryant guilty of the first-degree murder of Shallotte Realtor Adam Bradshaw. He was also found guilty of robbery with a dangerous weapon and conspiracy to commit murder.

Bryant was sentenced to life in prison without parole for the charge of first-degree murder. The charge of conspiracy to commit murder carries 180 to 225 months and the charge of robbery with a dangerous weapon carries 72 to 96 months.

Bryant’s co-defendant Lora Moultrie was sentenced today at 2 p.m. Moultrie plead guilty to charges of second degree murder and conspiracy to commit first degree murder in July of 2011 and turned state's witness. She was sentenced to 120 to 150 months (10 to 12.5 years) with credit for time served in confinement. She was given credit for 1,237 days, a little more than 3 years.
