SUNSET BEACH—Detectives with the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office are searching for an Ocean Isle Beach man wanted for armed robbery.

Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Sgt. April Stanley said the suspect is wanted for an armed robbery at a convenient store in Sunset Beach earlier this month.

On Tuesday, June 7, a suspect entered the Kangaroo at 927 Seaside Road, pointed a gun at the store clerk and demanded money from the business, Stanley said.

The suspect fled from the business on foot before law enforcement officers arrived on the scene.

Detectives followed up on leads and community tips, which led to the suspect, Antonio Livingston, of 532 Harris Trail in Ocean Isle Beach, Stanley said.

Detective Chris Barbour has issued warrants on Livingston for one count of robbery with a dangerous weapon.

Anyone with information on Livingston, or his whereabouts is asked to contact their local law enforcement agency or the sheriff’s office at 253-2777.
