Fishing under pressure with repeat clients

-A A +A

The east winds have finally switched back to our normal wind direction for this time of year: light northerly winds in the mornings switching to strong southwesterly winds in the afternoons. These winds are what most of us are used to in this area and it allows for small boats to hit the ocean early in the mornings. However, there hasn’t been much need to venture to the beach the last few weeks. There has been plenty of good flounder action in the backwater creeks and inlets. The nearshore reefs do have a few flounder on them but not like in past years.
