A fire sparked by lightning heavily damaged a three-story house near Holden Beach early Tuesday. The house, at 3802 Somerton St. in the Seascape community at Holden Plantation, sustained major fire damage on the roof and third floor, said Tri-Beach Fire Chief Doug Todd. The first and second floors of the house have some water damages from the fire reported at 12:17 a.m. Tuesday.
