OCEAN ISLE BEACH — Ocean Isle Beach officials will let residents have their say about rezoning land for a senior living community site, approving a public hearing for the request to be held at their next meeting at 8:45 a.m. April 10.

Coastal Vineyard Church requested rezoning the vacant lot at 5573 Beach Road SW, east of Duck Pond Road. The lot includes 10.65 acres the church requested rezoned to C-3 for the purpose of adding a 60-unit residential building for moderate-income seniors.
