Katie Mae Parker and Brandon Guy Garner, both of Supply, were married Oct. 15 at Camp United Methodist Church in Shallotte. The Rev. Richard Vaughn officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Al and Ramona Parker of Supply. The groom is the son of Terry and Marilyn Garner of Laurinburg.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents.
She wore an ivory silk taffeta strapless dress with pleating details and a pleated corsage of flowers in the back, a floor length ivory veil and carried an ivory bouquet of mixed flowers.
Sally Milligan of Ocean Isle Beach, the bride’s first cousin, served as maid of honor. She wore a V-neck dress.
Bridesmaids were Stephanie Parker of Ocean Isle Beach, sister-in-law of the bride; Casey Loughran of Ocean Isle Beach, high school friend; Reilly Blum of Atlanta, Ga., first cousin; Rae Stephens of Ash, childhood friend; and Kipling Garner of Raleigh, sister of the groom. They wore a different style dresses and silver shoes.
Sarah Beth McLaurin, Olivia Roberts and Campbell Cheers served as flower girls. Ringbearer was Braedon Wallace.
Terry Garner, the groom’s father, served as best man.
Groomsmen were Bert Parker of Ocean Isle Beach, brother of bride; Derek Savage of Buies Creek, college friend; Todd Durham of Asheville, childhood friend; Townsend Quinn of Buies Creek, college roommate; and Patrick Bryant of Ellerbe, college friend.
Ushers were Mac McLaurin of McColl, S.C., family friend; Boyd McLaurin of Laurinburg, family friend; and David Frye of Greensboro, childhood friend.
A reception followed the ceremony at The Cabin at Windy Point Road in Supply.
The bride is a graduate of Meredith College with a B.S. in biology. The groom is a graduate from Campbell University with a B.A. in business and a minor in financial planning.
Following a honeymoon at Wrightsville Beach, the couple will reside in Supply.
