The Wilmington Prostate Cancer Support Group, Us TOO International, will meet at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, November 1 in the SEAHEC Auditorium of New Hanover Regional Medical Center, 2131 S. 17th Street, Wilmington.

Men who are worried about a high PSA test, who have just been diagnosed, who are considering various treatments, who are undergoing treatment or who are survivors are welcome, as well as their spouses and concerned others.

Tonight, Catherine Hawkins, Nutritionist at the Zimmer Cancer Center of NHRMC, will lead a program on nutrition and the cancer patient, emphasizing prostate cancer survivor nutrition.

WPCSG is chartered by Us TOO International, Chicago, the largest such support organization in the world.  Active in Wilmington for over 16 years, the group delivers a monthly publication personally to area physicians who treat prostate cancer and publishes a monthly group newsletter.  Meetings support all phases of prostate cancer concerns, especially those investigating and recovering from treatment, bringing together men who have experienced all treatments with those seeking to learn from them.  Current medical literature, pamphlets and publications are available at meetings.  You are welcome.
