Yard and bake sale set for March 2
Anointed Vessels Ministry will host a yard and bake sale from 8 a.m.-
3 p.m. Saturday, March 2, at Once Again Consignment Shop, 3218 Whiteville Road/Mill Branch in Ash.

Ladies conference set for March 2
Sabbath Home Baptist Church, 990 Sabbath Home Road in Supply, will host its inaugural Rise Above Ladies Conference beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 2, in its new Life Center. The conference will feature speaker Kelly Bowling with music by The Bowling Family.

The Bowling Family will also provide a free concert that same evening at 7 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend this special event. A love offering will be taken.

Showers of Blessings are free on Mondays
Need a meal? Need a shower? New Life Christian Fellowship can help with its Showers of Blessings program from 5-7 p.m. every Monday at 2162 Stone Chimney Road SW in Supply. The next program is Monday, Feb. 25.
They work closely with BC Streetreach to provide anyone with shelter and a free meal for the night to anyone who needs it in the Brunswick County area from November through March.

Sermons set for March 3
“Giving Up Expectations,” based on scripture from Genesis 12:1-4a and John 3:1-7, will be the title of the Rev. Jeff Roberts’ and associate pastor Michelle Sabin’s sermons on Sunday, March 3, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 209 E. Nash St. in Southport.
This is the third in a six-part Lenten series titled “Giving it Up.”
Traditional worship services will be at 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. in the sanctuary, and at 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. in Murrow Hall, with music led by Worship, the praise band. Sunday school for all ages is at 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. Childcare is available at all services.

Hot meals to be served
On Wednesday, March 6, Trinity Baptist Church, 883 Holden Beach Road, will serve a free hot meal. Anyone who is homeless or in need is invited.
The church plans to continue serving meals on the first Wednesday evening of each month. Meals will be served from 5-6:30 p.m.
